Kanterra Science develops cannabis blends and formulations for the ceremonies of everyday life. For this project, they were looking for help in creating video content to bring their Liquid Soluble products to life. They already had well executed branding and product essence descriptions to pull from and build upon.
The brief was to create beautiful still-life scenes with subtle motion - similar to a cinemagraph video. With the strict limitations for content in the Cannabis space, we had to get creative. We could not show people or indicate consumption.
I worked on:
- Scene planning, setting & vibe design to include subtle motion.
- Art direction and prop sourcing, including creating specific brand colour backgrounds.
- Photography + editing.
Part 1 - Fusion of Botanicals and Science
With a focus on the science of their nano-emulsion technology, we used science lab glassware and botanicals to illustrate their Liquid Soluble Drops being dispersed into water effortlessly, without the need to stir.
Part 2 - For the Ceremonies of Everyday Life
For each of the 3 blends, I created a lifestyle scene evoking the essence of a ceremony experience, and building on the vibe.
